Bamboo clumps ....... they are older than I
been seeing these since I was little, did not dare to venture near them... Have had experiences of encountering shady characters in the shades of the bamboo. Back them bamboo was all lush and we were too careful not to get any of the tiny bamboo needles on to us. have a feeling these will go in a few years time.

A stream still alive from showers the city received some days ago, finding it way and all alive. I was happy to see this one. There is a tank behind this set of bamboo clumps where the strem empties itself.

This one was quite off beat! for a tree to be growing.
it was Gulmohor popularly know as May flower, mostly anything that blooms annualy in the month of May has become "The May Flower", This one is Botanically the Delonix regia

This was at Cubbon Park, right in the heart of the city. A sink and yes people literally use it as one. Complaints apart I am glad the city has this place. It worried me when they had this super idea that the will make an underground parking lot under these trees!!!
so far it is still a good wide sprawling area of many trees flowereing exotic ones, few museums, a police station, a children's park, a tennis stadium and the THE city central library.
