New garden visitors

Greedy little blighters these Parakeets

I've seen Ringnecked Parakeets (Psittacula krameri) flying nearby, but today they visited the garden for the first time. Not just the one here, but six of them at once!

Ring-necked Parakeets (aka Rose-ringed Parakeets) aren't native to the UK, but they're breeding here now, and in relatively large numbers.

I'm slightly worried that they seemed to be attacking and eventually drove off the Greater Spotted Woodpecker that often visits. They also occupied all the bird feeders, and prevented any other birds using them until I scared the Parakeets off :(

Apologies for the primaries being out of focus, the lighting was terrible and they're jittery birds. I have far better shots of Parakeets, but not from my garden, yet!
